I am typing this from the airport, because I am sure that tonight when I get home, I will be interested in little else other than sleep. Today was a good day overall, but the last day of a vacation is always a little depressing. You realize that the next day you will be right back where you started, chipping away at the daily grind stone that is your life. Ah well… c’est la vie.

This morning, I woke up at 6:45 am. As soon as I saw the clock, I said, “Screw that” and rolled over. I really woke up at about 9:45. I got up, brushed my teeth, and finished packing. WG and I planned to leave around 10:30 to drive down to Boulder, so once I had everything together, I snapped some shots of the house to show all my friends, and we were off. The drive down the mountain was pretty uneventful, save a realization halfway down that we had forgotten something WG wanted me to take to someone in Lawrence. Whoops… looks like that will get mailed.

In Boulder, WG and I went out to lunch with my Aunt Delyn, Uncle Bob, and Tasman. Then Aunt Delyn, Tas and I went to Circiut City so that I could give them some advice on what they needed to fix their home network. When we got back to their house, I helped Tas figure out a problem with his computer, which hasn’t turned on in several months. It was pretty satisfying, because I was about to give up after spending a little while trying everything I could think of. Finally, I tried one last thing (that I honestly wasn’t even sure would work), and we were able to get everything back up and running!

Aunt Delyn dropped me off at the bus station at about 3:20 to catch the bus to the airport. My flight doesn’t actually leave until 8:15, but I am the type of person who would much rather be early and make my flight than right on time and potentially miss it. When I got to the airport and through security, I was ticked to find that my computer wouldn’t connect to the free wi-fi in the airport. For some reason, my computer wasn’t being assigned an IP address. Finally, after about an hour of fiddling, I got it to connect. I am finally going to be able to upload all of these entries.

I can’t wait for tomorrow. Not really that whole “work” thing, but more the fact that I get to see Becca, who I have missed quite a bit. I just hope I can get enough sleep tonight to stay awake until then.
